Within the city of Marseille, the Prado-Carenage tunnel provides:
- A direct liaison between the A55 motorway and the A50
- Rapid access from the A55 to Parc Chanot
- A means of crossing the city centre in less than 5 minutes

By train:

Marseille Saint Charles TGV station, located in the centre of Marseille, the station provides direct access via metro to the Parc Chanot (5 stations). Marseille has direct train connections with over 12  European and French cities: Bordeaux, Brussels, Europa Lille, Lyon, Paris CDG/Lyon station, Vintimille…

  Congress access

 

A name badge will be provided on-site at the welcome desk, with your registration documents. Participants must wear this badge  both inside the conference rooms and in the exhibition area.

 

  Exhibition

 

The exhibition is located in the Hall des Pas Perdus, on the second floor.

 

Opening hours

Wednesday May, 23rd: 08:00 - 18:30
Thursday May, 24th: 08:00 - 18:30
Friday May, 25th: 08:00 - 17:00

 

  Lunches, coffee breaks and cocktail

 

Coffee breaks will take place in the exhibition area. A quick lunch menu will enable participants to dine rapidly in the Congress centre.

 

The Welcome Reception will take place on Wednesday, May 23rd 2012 from 18:30 to 19:30 in the exhibition area.

 

  Official language

 

English is the official language of the Congress. Simultaneous translation into French will be provided for all the sessions (Auditorium and Amphitheatre Callelongue).

 

  Visas

 

Persons entering France should possessa valid passport and/or identification card (except for members of the Euro zone and Swiss). Some countries require a visa.

Applicants for visas must have registered and paid their registration fees before requesting an application letter. If the visa is refused, the registration fees will be refunded.

  Insurance and responsability

 

ISHEID 2012 committees and Overcome agency cannot be held liable for any hindrance or disruption of Congress proceedings arising from political, social, economic or public health events or any other unforeseen incidents beyond their control. In case of cancellation, cancellation policies of the congress will be applied.

 

Congress registration entails the full and whole acceptance of these cancellation policies. It is recommended to the participants to obtain an insurance covering for their journey (health, accident, repatriation, cancellation) before leaving. The organizers (ISHEID 2012 and Overcome) cannot be held responsible for any accident, caused by a participant or an accompanying person during or following the congress or during any of the events organized around the congress.
