The Symposium Organisers are looking for aproximately 50 local dedicated volunteers from Toulon and the surrounding region to help on-site at the 15th ISHEID. On-site volunteers at the Symposium will receive free access to most of the Symposium sessions and one free meal per day.
Unfortunately we are not able to consider applications from volunteers outside the Toulon Region (including international), unless you arrange and pay for your own transportation and accommodation.
Different volunteer tasks during the Symposium
Volunteering includes the following areas:
- Opening Ceremony
- Badge Control
- Session Rooms
- Traffic Flow
- Questions & Answers
- Poster Exhibition
The main tasks will be organised in 6 hour shifts, two per day. We are encouraging volunteers to be available to help throughout the symposium from May 28 to May 30, 2008.
AM shifts will start as early as 07:30, and PM shifts can end as late as 19:00.
All volunteers will be wearing a Volunteer T-Shirt.
Each day a nutritional lunch will be served.
Helping before the Symposium
We will be packing the symposium bags presumably on May 26 and 27, 2008 (definite date to be confirmed). If you would be interested in helping us, please let us know.
